At age 53, Anémone learns she has early-onset Alzheimer disease. The life she had chosen in order to forget her former existence is about to be turned upside down. Nearly 30 years earlier, Anémone, then named Manon, had been forced to flee a violent relationship – abandoning her three young children in the process. Having assumed a new identity and built a new life for herself, Anémone now spends happier days with her children from a second relationship. When she learns about her illness, and that it may be hereditary, Anémone is once again haunted by her former life, which none of her family and friends know about. She has to track down her first children to tell them the news – before she forgets them entirely. How will they react at the prospect of carrying the Alzheimer gene?
What will the private detective she hired find out? Tune in to Season 4 of this series written by Chantal Cadieux to see how things turn out.
