This show brings together incredibly successful business people, our Dragons, and ambitious up and coming entrepreneurs. These individuals have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present their business proposal or invention to the Dragons in hopes of convincing them to invest. Eager to impress, these passionate individuals showcase their originality and unveil their strategies to forge new business partnerships. It's a chance to propel their business, whether it's a startup or well-established.
This year, the show is back for its 15th season on Radio-Canada! To mark the milestone, a revamped format is sure to delight viewers.
The weekly lineup features four permanent Dragons: Georges Karam, entrepreneur and CEO of Cognibox; David Côté, co-founder of LOOP Mission; and the two Dragons who joined the team last season, Anne Martel, co-founder of Element AI, and Luc Poirier, president of Poirier. They will be joined by a guest Dragon chosen from iconic figures of previous seasons: Serge Beauchemin, Dominique Brown, Isabèle Chevalier, Nicolas Duvernois, Christiane Germain, and Marie-Josée Richer.
While sometimes in competition against each other, the dragons sometimes join forces to create alliances that meet—or exceed—the expectations of the entrepreneurs.
This 15th anniversary promises special segments, inspiring testimonials from entrepreneurs who found success through the show, and a new feature: two "face-offs" where two similar businesses each have one minute to convince the Dragons to continue discussions with only one of them.
Highlighting talent, innovation, and creativity, and promoting local entrepreneurship are key goals of the series Dans l'oeil du dragon.
