Guy A. Lepage and Sylvie Léonard
A big surprise is in store for Guy and Sylvie when they become grandparents to a baby girl with a questionable name. Sylvie's joy, however, is short-lived. She finds out their daughter, Camille, used a sperm donor without telling her favourite person, Mau, putting a serious strain on their relationship. Unsurprisingly, Sylvie dives headfirst into her new role as a grandmother, much to Camille's frustration. After refusing to have her daughter baptized, Camille organizes a “welcome to life” ceremony instead, inviting relatives from both sides of the family.
Sylvie also begins writing her first novel — a project whose theme raises more than a few eyebrows. Meanwhile, Sylvie suggests that Guy do a digital detox. Guy is less than thrilled, and the experience proves to be painfully difficult for him! After months of waiting, the couple finally gets their new electric car — and their first taste of its problems. Bored with too much time on their hands, Guy and Sylvie embark on a series of ill-fated adventures, including a van-life expedition, a hike in the forest and a guided tour of Montreal that goes horribly wrong.
In other news, their son Charles opens a cafe with his partner, Akalie, where he's the barista and she's the server. Martin and his new girlfriend, Mélanie, invite Guy and Sylvie to their first show at the Bordel Comédie Club, with mixed results. Guy also strikes up a spontaneous “bromance” with Loulou's new boyfriend, much to Sylvie's dismay. As if all this weren't enough, Guy's father's declining health forces the couple to take on a more active role in his care, making them realize that life is anything but boring.
