Synopsis

please like me Fall 2015 Starring : Josh Thomas, Caitlin Stasey, Debra Lawrance, Wade Briggs With his 21st birthday just around the corner, life finally seems to be coming together for Josh (popular Australian comedian Josh Thomas). That is, before the events of one day throw his world into chaos. After being dumped by his girlfriend Claire (Caitlin Stasey), Josh comes to the realization that he is gay. With the support of his now ex-girlfriend, and his best friend and house-mate Tom, Josh must help the rest of his family embrace his new found lifestyle. And when his divorced mother Rose (Debra Lawrance) overdoses on pain killers, Josh is forced to move back into the family home to help her deal with her depression. All of this becomes a little more complicated when he explores his sexuality with a young and handsome man, Geoffrey (Wade Briggs). A humourous and touching exploration of love, friendship and family amongst 20-something's, all told through Josh Thomas's unique comedic voice.  Please Like Me received an International Emmy Nomination. ​ ​
