Synopsis

He was known as the “baby whisperer” and “sperm king.” For nearly three decades starting in the 1970s, Dr. Norman Barwin was the most sought-after fertility specialist in Canada, consulted by people from across the country desperate to start a family. They were later horrified to learn that their child had been conceived using sperm from their miracle doctor himself or from donors they hadn't chosen. Reporter Antoine Trépanier tells the stories of these parents and children who found out that their family wasn't what they'd always thought it was.
