Synopsis

Richard Castle truly has it all. Acclaimed crime novel writer Castle is a bit of a bad boy, a charming skirt chaser who collects romantic conquests as much as his literary achievements. When the NYPD calls him in on a murder investigation, Castle wastes no time putting his observation skills, insight, and most of all his “charming” personality to good use in helping the police. His new partner, Lieutenant Kate Beckett, is not happy about this intrusion by an author she considers a narcissist, egomaniac, and tease. But in time, Castle and Beckett learn to overcome their differences as they solve New York City's various crimes – there's never a shortage of them in the city that never sleeps.
