After captivating us with LES INVINCIBLES and SÉRIE NOIRE, the creative duo of François Létourneau and Jean-François Rivard are back with a third Radio-Canada drama series, soon to begin production. Titled C’EST COMME ÇA QUE JE T’AIME, the series takes us back to the 1970s. It’s based on the incredible true story of the “Sainte-Foy Killers,” the most infamous foursome in the annals of Quebec City organized crime.
In 1974, two troubled couples living in the sleepy Quebec City suburb of Sainte-Foy drop their kids off at summer camp. Back home, they come face-to-face with the pathetic state of their married lives. Infidelities and betrayals soon come bursting out into the open. But in a society where divorce is still mostly taboo, how do the Delisles and Paquettes react? They become the deadliest contract killers in the history of the Quebec City underworld.
