Synopsis

At Anne's new home, Domaine des Peupliers (“Windy Poplars” in English), there's a whole new cast of characters: Aunt Kate and Aunt Chatty, two good-natured widows; Dusty Miller the cat; and Rebecca Dew, the ornery housekeeper with the heart of gold. There's also the beauty of the Island, holidays at Avonlea with Marilla, Mrs. Lynde, the twins . . . and Gilbert Blythe, off at medical school and to whom Anne writes faithfully.
