Each city is represented by a team of two professional chefs (chef and sous-chef). The cities face off in a series of culinary challenges that test their chefs' talent. Each challenge has a specific theme. The idea behind Le combat des villes, which features a host and two judges, is to highlight Quebec cuisine and local Quebec food products.
