Pour emporter is 20 hour-long encounters – special moments shared by host France Beaudoin and artists and celebrities with quite different careers and backgrounds. By focusing on a memorable book, a key phrase, a thought, the host orchestrates the discussions with her guests. The main concept is that each person is the sum of the words he or she has read, heard, seen, said and left unsaid. So the audience will come away from each interview with a gift box designed to resemble a Chinese takeout container full of the guest's wide-ranging cultural references ! We hope that this take-away will give the audience a taste not just for culture, but for sharing it, too.
