Trois-Rivières in the 1960s is a city riddled with gambling, prostitution, and corruption that has infiltrated every level of the municipal administration, even the police. After a provincial commission investigating police wrongdoing tables its findings, heads start to roll. Detective Sergeant Louis-Georges Dupont, who testified to commissioners, is found dead soon after. Though his death is ruled a suicide, the case is awash in so many grey areas and contradictions that Dupont’s sons come to believe there’s more than meets the eye. Fifty years later, will light finally be shed on the affair?
