keeping canada aliveSundays 9pm Imagine what we might see if we took a snapshot of the Canadian health care system in one 24-hour period. For one day in the spring of 2015, that's exactly what we'll do. Sixty camera crews will descend on hospitals, clinics, and trauma centres from coast to coast to coast, to capture intimate stories of patients and health care providers in a bold, breathtaking and dramatic ‘day in the life’ of health care in Canada. Our cameras will capture powerful and poignant moments as people seek treatment, and medical professionals do everything to provide it, in a unique blend of medical mystery and real-life drama. The result will be Keeping Canada Alive, a high-profile six-part CBC series based on a format from ITV, and an ambitious digital media component, designed to inspire a national conversation about health care, and provoke viewers to think about their own well-being.
