keeping canada aliveSundays 9pm Imagine what we might see if we took a snapshot of the Canadian health care system in one 24-hour period.​ For one day in the spring of 2015, that's exactly what we'll do. Sixty camera crews will descend on hospit​als, clinics, and trauma centres from coast to coast to coast, to capture intimate stories of patients and health care providers in a bold, breathtaking and dramatic ‘day in the life’ of health care in Canada.​ Our cameras will capture powerful and poignant moments as people seek treatment, and medical professionals do everything to provide it, in a unique blend of medical mystery and real-life drama.​ The result will be Keeping Canada Alive, a high-profile six-part CBC series based on a format from ITV, and an ambitious digital media component, designed to inspire a national conversation about health care, and provoke viewers to think about their own well-being. ​​​​​​​
