Synopsis

In hospitals and healthcare centres across Quebec, dedicated doctors show us the reality of their jobs and their commitment to upholding the Hippocratic Oath. Through their daily activities, we discover that they're the central figures in a medical practice, surrounded by patients and other professionals who depend on them, and that they also shape the quality of life of an entire region. These doctors adapt their approach to their region's specific realities. They make do with resources on hand and carry out their duties despite the hurdles in their way. They're proud of the work they do, but they're solitary figures who, with their team's help, shore up a healthcare system that's far from perfect.
