Synopsis

Beautés désespérées (Desperate Housewives) chronicles the lives of four friends – Susan, Lynette, Bree and Gabrielle – who live a tidy suburb where nothing ever seems to happen. The show's narrator, Mary Alice Young, is a former friend who committed suicide at the beginning of the series. Through her eyes, we witness the drama that unfolds around the four friends, all sprinkled with a touch of humour and mystery.
