On the evening of December 31, viewers tuned in to experience the Bye Bye 2023 and to discover the ads competing in the Bye Bye de la pub competition. Starting from January 1st to January 7th, the public is invited to cast their votes for their favourite ad campaign by visiting the competition's website at radio-Canada.ca/concours-byebye-pub-2023. Winners will be announced in the coming days.

The evening of December 31st remains the television event of the year in Quebec, with programs reaching millions of viewers. This year, the majority of New Year's Eve programs on ICI TÉLÉ on December 31 recorded preliminary stable or up audiences compared to 2022, and well above pre-pandemic results (2019) in all cases!
