They've got their whole lives ahead of them, but they have to grow up fast. That's how it is for the pregnant teenagers who are at the heart of Toute la vie, Danielle Trottier's great new drama this year after Unité 9 wound up after seven sensational seasons. Toute la vie revolves around Marie Labrecque School, the only one of its kind in the world. Its 60 or so students are all aged 12 to 17, and they're all pregnant or new mothers. Its twofold mission is to get them through school and to prepare them for motherhood, so that after they give birth, they'll be able to take care of the totally dependent, fragile little creatures they've brought into the world. It's anything but certain! It's a huge challenge and they have only a few months to get ready.
