Patricia Paquin and Louis-François Marcotte have been together for 10 years – 10 years of shuttling back-and-forth between Patricia’s house in Montreal and Louis-François’ cottage up north. Then over dinner one night, they got an idea: “What if we just packed up and left?” A dream was born: to sell off their properties, renovate a new home in the county, move in the whole clan, and make a fresh start with their heads full of plans for the future.
