This format allows advertisers to partner with Radio-Canada programming and create a connection with viewers.


15-SEC. STANDARD BILLBOARD


  • Also known as the “Enjoy the show!” billboard format.
  • You can say in voiceover, “This program is brought to you by [advertiser].”
  • A simple “Enjoy the show!” is also accepted in audio and/or super form.
  • The billboard can contain a brandsell spot and/or call to action.

10-SEC. AND 15-SEC. SPONSORSHIP BILLBOARD


  • Sponsors have the privilege of naming the title of show in their sponsorship billboard and/or to develop a special creative concept that aligns with the program. The concept must be pre-approved by Radio-Canada.
  • You can name the program title in voiceover; for example: “Tout le monde en parle is brought to you by [advertiser].”
  • A simple “Enjoy the show!” mention is also accepted in audio and/or super form.
  • The billboard can contain a brandsell spot and/or call to action.

CLIENT-PRODUCED MATERIAL


  • VERY IMPORTANT: Before recording the voiceover, email the script to CBC/Radio-Canada Advertising Standards for pre-approval.
  • The billboard must meet Radio-Canada technical specifications.
  • Deliver your billboard per the usual procedure at least five business days before broadcast.
  • If your product falls into one of the following categories — Food, Alcoholic Beverages, Health Products or Cosmetics — approval by Advertising Standards Canada (Ad Standards) may be required if the script contains product claims.

 


Submit your production request and related material to your sales rep. A production estimate will be issued.

Production turnaround times

  • At least 10 business days upon receipt of material.

What we need from you

  • Your preference for the voiceover (male/female voice, tone).
  • Your script OR creative brief (if you want us to handle the writing).
  • Visuals (logos, graphics, videos, fonts) per our technical specifications.
  • If your product falls into one of the following categories — Food, Alcoholic Beverages, Health Products or Cosmetics — approval by Advertising Standards Canada (Ad Standards) may be required if the script contains product claims.
